Robert A. Lavalette, O.N.P.
Orthopaedic Nurse Practitioner

Mr. Lavalette graduated from Framingham Union School of Nursing with a degree in nursing. He has been practicing as an Orthopaedic Nurse Practioner for over 30 years. He serves as Associate Clinical Professor with the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Vermont. His area of expertise is in fracture care and general orthopaedics.

 

Carol L. Blattspieler, O.N.P.
Orthopaedic Nurse Practitioner

Ms. Blattspieler graduated with a B.S. in professional nursing from the University of Vermont and completed her Nurse Practitioner education at the State University of New York at the Upstate Medical Center. She graduated from the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and is nationally certified as a Radiologic Technologist. Ms. Blattspieler serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at FAHC/University of Vermont where she also teaches in the Graduate Nursing Program. She has been practicing orthopaedic medicine for over 25 years. Her area of expertise is in sports injuries and prevention, with a focus on runners, cyclists, and endurance athletes.
